China the likely culprit behind financial terrorism: Pentagon – By Staff Reporter (Mar. 2, 2011)

An unclassified US Pentagon report shows that China and the Taliban were likely responsible for the US financial crisis in 2008. The author of the report urged the US government to invest more resources to fix the vulnerabilities in its financial system.

The report, “Economic Warfare: Risks and Responses”, written in 2009, said that aside from the housing bubble, excessive leverage and sub-prime real estate loans, planned attacks launched by “financial terrorism” and “economic warfare” should also be taken into consideration as factors responsible for the US financial crisis in 2008.
